these are one to two hour talks.
Connection: The Key Element in Healing
When people have troubles that bring them for help, they
often feel
(and are) isolated and disconnected.
This session will detail the three major areas in which
people
get disconnected and the seven pathways to reconnection.
You'll learn how these seven pathways in psychotherapy,
addictions work and healing.
Objectives

Breathing
“Soul” Back Into Psychotherapy
Soul and spirituality has often been left
out of therapeutic work primarily because therapists
haven't been shown a respectful, non-intrusive way to bring
it in to change work. But leaving out this important
resource in people's lives is impositional in another way.
This session will provide a clear overview, definition of
spirituality and provide easy to understand and use tools
for spiritual assessment and intervention.
Objectives
1. List the three components of spirituality

The Anatomy of Influence: Using the latest persuasion
research to decrease resistance and make your work more
effective
Recent research has shown that there are
predictable ways that people make decisions and are
persuaded. This research has been presented in popular
books such as Predictably Irrational, Nudge, Influencer,
Sway, The Placebo Response, Blink and others. Using this
research can make your work more effective (and you'll
probably be able to use it to enhance your personal life
and relationships as well). In this presentation, you will
learn the latest research findings and get suggestions for
how to apply them in your work to help people change more
quickly and more readily (and to notice and resist people's
attempts to influence you in ways you don't want to be
influenced).

Thriving Through Crisis: Turning
Post-Traumatic Stress into Post-Traumatic Success
In this talk, you'll discover the three crucial ways, drawn
from research and clinical experience, to transform trauma
and life crises into positive benefits. This inspiring
talk, by Bill O'Hanlon, psychotherapist and author of 28
books, including two on trauma, will change the way you
think about trauma and PTSD and give hope for those clients
who are seriously affected by post-traumatic symptoms.

so you can do more of what you want
Almost everyone these days complains about being too busy.
Even though we have modern conveniences designed to save
time, still we find ourselves overwhelmed with too much to
do.
This session, conducted by recovered busy-holic Bill
O'Hanlon, will both details the problem and give solutions
to create more time for the essential and important things
in life and finally have a life with free time.
